Facts About Africa
Africa is the second largest continents in the world and the second populous after Asia. Africa covers about 6% of the earth’s surface with an area of 30.2 million square kilometers which include adjacent islands. Africa hosts 54 countries in total and South Sudan is the newest of the countries whose birth is expected to be on the 9th July 2011. It also makes about 20.4% of the total land area in the world.
